Well you can either call it an attempt to destroy America..or facilitate a "fundamental transformation of this Country" depending on what your beliefs are. Since most Americans consider themselves Conservative leaning as opposed to liberal, I guess you can make the argument that most people believe he is trying to detroy the existing systems and replace it with Socialism. the proof is overwhelming..mother a Marxist, father, associates, professors, ACORN, SEIU, Van Jones, Valerie J., Czars, do I really need to go on...he is a progressive with a Capital P. Unless of course you are a Marxist / Socialist / Communist. Then of course Obama's ideology is a good thing...

Are you seriously blaming the current administration on the housing issues? I'm thinking alzheimers with a memory like that. a foreclosure doesn't happen in a matter of months. Under Bush there was a push to get banks to make easy loans for people so they could buy homes. Those banks and wall street created many creative means to remove money from the public. .... ARM's give a teaser rate so that in 2-5 years you will inflate the rate... they say to prevailing rates at that period. If you looked, the rates have fallen, many below the teaser rates yet the banks raised interest to 10-32%.
Before you slam my numbers remember this is my field and these are based off of what my clients have experienced, not some BS crap you heard on Aux news or the papers. Banks have been outrageous in their behaviors. When their cost of money dropped why do they need to charge such high rates? Then they won't allow a fixed rate because they say the appraisal they had from 2 years ago isn't any good and the values have dropped so refinancing is impossible...
This situation had nothing to do with OBAMA. in fact he has slowed the decline and in many cases stopped the foreclosures. So W caused the problem and Obama has done much to rectify it. can he reverse 15 million foreclosures in 2 years... hell no. but he has kept our economy from imploding. If you are thinking going back to the repubs is a good thing then you are simply a fool. they have NEVER done anything good for the economy. in the last 20 years they had the office.
None of the above had anything to do with the government having too much or too little power... they had everything to do with the culture of America. The majority of Americans WERE IN FAVOR of Jim Crow. The 14th amendment has been in the constitution since the 1860's but the American people - and particularly those in the south - ignored it for an entire century. The government is not the problem...
In case you were unaware, the 14th amendment citizenship was for an inferior status at law. That's why the supreme court upheld "separate but equal" segregation until after the majority dropped in status, via FICA.
Go read the law and court decisions, and pay attention to the sections that mention that "People are sovereigns". Then carefully read the 14th amendment, and the "subject to" part.
Then look up the difference between "manumission" and "emancipation" in a law dictionary.
