I saw Stewart interview a Dem Senator (Can't remember which one) a few weeks ago and he really grilled him. I haven't watched this yet, but I'd imagine Stewart asks a couple of "hard" ones.

Well Stewart was direct and rather blunt. You got the impression that Obama wasn't exactly at ease.

He seemed a bit peed off if you ask me, there was a point where he appeared to almost scowl. As much as Stewart carries on with his obnoxious giggle, Obama wasn't laughing... at all.

I had to miss the show but then I never watch it anyway. After seeing what has been said here I am sure that I won't be hanging around trying to find it this late either.
Contemptuous? He didn't appear that way to me at all. He was relaxed and upbeat and didn't duck a single question---many of which were hardballs.
I've been re-watching this and I'll give you this much, he didn't dodge any questions, and to Obama's credit, he paused, thought, and answered, something few political figures do. Usually they just start rambling off in some unknown direction until the view loses interest.
I believe the main page will update with the Obama interview sometime tonight. Although in the meantime, last night was pretty hilarious and worth a watch.
I'm pretty sure John McCain has said "Washington is broken" every year he has been in office which is like forever and its still not fixed, go figure.
