I haven't watched yet (it's on the DVR for tomorrow), but Stewart is the best interviewer out there. He asks that questions that EVERYBODY should be asking, but don't. And yes, Stewart is liberal, but he rips both left and right on his show. It's very non-BS, like every news show should be, but isn't.

You go on Jon Stewart's show because you don't want hardball questions. He is a comedian, you know, not a real news person. This is Obama in just another version of his college campus favorite setting. Let the demographic that is least likely to be impacted by my economy see me and encourage them to vote.

Stewart is a lapdog for the DNC.

The Stewart and Colbert rallies this coming weekend comprise get-out-the vote efforts on the eve of the election, handed to Obama and the Democrats for free.

There is nothing more to say, except that a pesident who has destroyed what's left if the economy, complicated the healthcare system so that no one has a clue what's going on (except that insurance rates have shot sky-high), and escalated an absurd and unwinnable war in Afghanistan, apparently indefinitely, should have been shredded by Stewart and his ilk.

That he has not, and that Stewart and Colbert lack the courage to offer any meaningful criticism of him, and instead are working nonstop to ensure a large voter turnout by the stoned and hypnotized 18 - to 24 demographic, demonstrates beyond the shadow of a doubt that Comedy Channel is firmly in the pocket of the Democratic Party.

Stweart's a shill. Colbert's a one-trick pony. They're gutless.

No politician is ever asked a hardball question. Every media member wants to be liked and wants the opportunity to interview a guest again.

The last media member who had balls and could upset people was Mike Wallace of 60 Minutes and he is retired. It's a pity, I miss that guy.

I remember John Stossel having balls when he called out Donald Trump to his face by claiming he was trying to use eminent domain to move a lady's house so he could build next to his casino.

Bryant Gumbel has also called out celebrities but it's rare.

Agreed, people are incredibly stupid on this forum and this is another example. Since when has Jon Stewart, a comedian and a host of a late night comedy show been considered to be a serious journalist?

Seriously, this is like demanding the Weekend Update anchors on Saturday Night Live to report the news in an unbiased manner.

Even Colbert is now being discussed as if he is a host of a serious news program. This forum continues to demonstrate Social Darwinism. Just when I thought people on this forum couldn't be more stupid.....

You can see those that actually watched the segment, and the ignorant ones that didn't are just blindly attacking,... Stewart actually grilled Obama quite a bit.

I find it rather funny myself, it is as though Jon Stewart of "The Comedy Central" station is held to the same standard as Walter Cronkite, and not to the political satirist he is.

Even more funny, as I was just going through the search feature we have here and reading all these same folks using Jon Stewart as a definitive source of journalistic integrity when he was slamming Obama during the BP spill.

I thought it was rather decent interview over all and if one didn't know that it was political satire show on a comedy channel, a person could be mistaken that it was an actual news program as it still exceeded most of the tripe I hear on MSNBC and Fox.

Perhaps Fox and MSNBC should consider themselves the comedy stations they really are, either that or two new versions of the sci-fi channel

And that's not an attack? You assume we didn't watch at all.

I got tired of the laugh tracks and the talking point answers. I did sit through though and was not impressed with either host nor guest.

Grilled? O must really be feeling 'rare', cuz this wasn't even a 'medium well done'.

The actual event though demeaned the office of the presidency. But then all politicians do much the same.

It will become a comedy skit for the world to laugh at for years.

And it was all for votes. And the jokes' on the democrats.

The old bat Helen Thomas loved to go after Bush.
