The Indians won their injuction on Oct 22nd. The polling stations will stay open.
Courthouse News Service
It wasn't racist. 4 non-reservation stations were closed by the county to save money.

"The chief judge agreed that the reservation closures appeared to disproportionately affect the tribe, despite the fact that the decision was based on money, not intentional discrimination.
He ordered the county to keep the locations in Warwick and Fort Totten open."

"Because the third disputed polling place, in Oberon, is not actually on the reservation, Erickson said the county could close it along with the other non-reservation voting spots."

"The Court sees little reason to treat the Oberon voting place any differently than the other four voting places not located on the reservation which have been closed," he wrote.

Thank you for the update! I'm actually very, very glad this wasn't racial. People have enough on their plates.

Wow, my entire state gets mail ballots. I guess you can count all of Oregon as not voting by this logic.

These democrats are just freaking amazing!!!!
They know they can't win on their own merits so they have to cheat to hedge their chances.

Nice list btw. Don't forget these voting irregularities either...

Illinois Candidate's Name Misspelled As 'Rich Whitey' On Electronic-Voting Machines | TPMDC

Priorities: Illinois officials miss the deadline to mail military ballots; hand-deliver ballots to inmates « The Greenroom
Quote:
Over 35 counties in Illinois missed the deadline to mail military ballots to our soldiers defending America. But in Chicago, county election officials have taken special steps to ensure that no inmates at the Cook County Jail are unable to cast a ballot.
The Chicago Board of Elections hand delivers ballots to the jail. They don’t even wait for the inmates to apply – they bring the applications with the ballots! Over 2,600 inmates have cast ballots so far – strikingly similar to the 2,600 soldiers who will likely not receive a ballot for the Nov 2 election.

It's appalling what is happening regarding voting in this country.

And equally appalling is the fact that someone would be OK with it because it isn't a heavily populated area. It becomes suspect in my mind when people can't be bothered to prove citizenship to vote, yet those that are registered are left to their own devises as to access to a polling place.

Lanier Guinier wrote about such tactics in. "the tyranny of the majority.". Polling places were made less convenient for less favored groups, or even moved the day before the election.
