It is about "Yes We Can.....But...."
You do get it, right? You do understand the play of "but" against "yes we can" right?

How many heard his "Yes we can....but..." comment? Absolutely ignorant. The guy is an idiot.

Should we have tee-shirts printed up with this as the new Obama slogan? The words did come straight from the one, himself.

Why was it ignorant? It seems that it is more truthful and appropriate than his original slogan of "yes, we can", which people seem to interpret as an ability to change things overnight. The real world does not work that way. In the real world, you can change things, but it can take an enormous amount of time and effort.
If anything, Obama's original slogan was dumb. This one is less catchy (not going to win any votes), but much more accurate.
I think he meant to finish it with yes we can but...now I need your change. I've spent us into oblivion but if you will just send your change I know I can make it work.

"Yes we can...but" I was a sellout so progressives who supported me in 2008 won't be stupid enough to make the same mistake in 2010 (regarding Dems in general)

First time around he had those same excusesbut People were so hyped up about Obama, and the Change that he was soon going to bring all they could think of was Change was going to be good but all we got was pretty much what we have always had, perhaps a bit worse. He does not get it that this Country, is hurting and how can this Country be helped or get back on track, with a President, who does not think we have a problem. That is our problem.
