Why do Democrats refuse to look at and admit the starting point of the housing market decline which prompted the recession we are currently in? Christopher Dodds and Barnery Frank = Freddie and Fannie.

Just what is Barack Obama (http://www.pvbr.com/Issue_1/pers.htm - broken link)

There is no doubt that the Bush administration pushed the American economy off a cliff. To expect any president to correct the ravages that the Republicans inflicted on this country over eight years is simply absurd. The housing market's problems began long before Obama took office. Under Bush jobs left the US by the boatloads. The real problem is no jobs.

The truth of today's politics is that politicians are more concerned about being elected and re-elected than doing the job they are supposed to do. This is evidenced with in massive influx of negative campaigning paid by contributors who decline to identify themselves. We need to rate politicians by the job they do and rate them similar to teachers. When they fail to meet the people's standard they should be fired.
