I'm running for office on the following elections platform:
Public funding of campaigns to pay for travel, debate venues, and meager staff and website creation/maintenance.
No private funding of any kind from citizens, corporations and non-profits, domestic and foreign.
Limitations on how much someone can fund their own campaign.
Government run website listing all candidates/issues with links to candidates' websites.
No signs. No commercials.
Polling results to be kept confidential to the individual candidates with penalties for leaked information.
Hand-written ballots where "X" marks the spot, with ballot receipt for voter.
"None of the above" on every ballot for those times when none of the candidates deserves the job.
It's high time the people got off their obese butts and researched the candidates and their positions instead of giving untold millions to corrupt political parties that either profit from that contribution or use it to brainwash people into choosing the lesser of many evils, i.e., their candidate.
Would you vote for me?

And I'll stop getting those repetitive and annoying mailers, too. Heck, I voted a week and a half ago.
My cat goes out in the yard and eats grass periodicly and throws up on the tile floor in the sunroom. I've found those political flyers printed on glossy, stiff paper are perfect for doing a quick scoop of the slimey grass mixture. A quick wipe and voila. I'm really gonna miss those flyers.
