President Obama and Congress eliminated the credit card scam known as Universal Default via reform law. Usury rates were ruining family budgets, so they stopped paying anyways. Now people who do qualify for credit will no longer be scammed by usury rates. The companies that pulled this scam and refuse to lend will go out of business. People know where to bank now, at banks and credit unions NOT "too big to fail", due to the Move Your Money Movement: Move Your Money
Now Chase Bank is chasing me to open an account with free $100, if I do direct deposit. I have never done business with this bank before, so clearly the law and the Move Your Money Movement is working!
Interesting take on getting a mass marketing bank offer that has been done thousands of times before the banking reform law was passed. Newsflash: Chase bought your name and is interested in adding a NEW customer to their base. Its called marketing. They wouldn't offer it to an existing customer.
Hasn't been a week that passed in the past 10 years that I haven't gotten an offer to open an account or credit card with a bank, no matter what size the bank is. Didn't know all those offers were due to Obama

look at the time period of which he was running for president. would people have accepted anything less than him promising the world? the people don't vote for presidents that say "well hey, i can't do all of this, but i might be able to do some of it"...c'mon now....
