Agree. No indication of "strong-arming" in those emails! Just another thread of fantasies, deceptions, and illusions. Nothing to see here.

A lawyer for Nevada Senate candidate Sharron Angle has filed a complaint with the Justice Department alleging illegal voter intimidation on behalf of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's campaign.

The complaint is based on an article, which appeared Tuesday morning in National Review, that alleged Reid's campaign worked with sympathetic executives to put pressure on union casino employees to vote.

Why would anyone be surprised that Harry did not resort to cheating? Look at the unemployment numbers and his low poll numbers. The only way this clown could have been re-elected was by fraud. The good side to this is his sidekick, Nancy, will be putting down that damn gavel.

There is no way that Harry Reid should have won based on the current condition of his state. Fraud and job threats based on outcome had to have something to do with it.

For some reason I can't get the link to open, so I'm not really sure of the details, if there are any. The media is so biased today....they mislead by omission, rather than out right lying. It yields the same result because the reader/viewer fills in the blanks with assumptions that do not dispute or contradict what ever it is they're reading or hearing. The first assumption they make is that they're getting the whole story.

Based on my personal experiences, I can tell you why this may be misleading. Back in 1983 I worked in the pre-press department of a printing company. It was a union shop so I had to join the printing pressman's union to work there. There were quite a few paid hoidays and Election day was always one of them. Sundays and holidays were always paid at double time, although that didn't matter because, the plant always closed on Sundays and holidays so no one worked. In the case of Election day since we had the day off with pay, if we wanted to vote, we had all day to get to the polls.

Since this is a casino, they don't close on any day, let alone Election day. I'm sure employees got holiday pay for working but, that's not meant to be compensation for possibly not being able to get to the polls in time to vote that day because they were too busy working day. It doesn't sound like they were forcing employees to vote or who to vote for, they were just making sure no one was denied the opportunity to exercise their civil right to vote because of working on Election day.

Las Vegas was probably better when the Mafia ran it. Everybody had a job and it was not such a "sterile" place. I'd rather stay a night at the old Stardust than any of the billion dollar mega resorts they have now.
