I'm always concerned when nutjobs are elected. LOL You guys didn't win big like you thought you would. And I'm delighted that your two most extreme nutjobs, Sharon Angle and Carl Palidino lost. Palidino pulled out a baseball bat during his "sort of consession" speech and basically threatened the newly elected governor. Now that's gotta make you proud.
It is a bit scary having good ole Jerry Brown back for his swan song in California. Fortunately, the massive GOP/Tea Party ontherighttrack Conservative Wins around the rest of the country will confine and keep to a minimum this old nutjob's damage.

I watched that with Chris Mathews.

She was smart not to answer that loaded question. Stick to the principals and don't be drug down to their level was a good play.

Approve Bachmann's WELFARE check she got for $250,000 ???

Is that YOUR idea of smaller government?
No. Bush wasn't the answer. The answer lies with the Tea Party/Economically Conservative/Constitutionalist Republicans. We need to get the government out of bed with the huge corporations. Let the Free Market reign. Quit with the governmental subsidies. Small businesses will flourish and a healthy middle class will return.

Well, you covered the main poster slogans.

Now that the Republicans have control of the House, those slogans will fall by the wayside. It's a little bit more complicated than the Tea Party slogans. Let the Free Market reign? Yeppers. And then huge corporations can really run everyone's life. An unfettered free market leads to monopolies, and ultimately stifles competition.

Like Bachmann's?

Please do tell us just exactly which of the newly elected Tea Party/Economically Conservative/Constitutionalist Republicans received NO $$$ from huge corporations?

"Loaded question"? So you're saying that indeed Bachmann's initial call for investigations into "UnAmerican" Congress members was stupid and that she was right to avoid at all costs the questions put to her by Chris Matthews about whether or not she NOW intended to use the subpoena powers to pursue those INVESTIGATIONS? LOL

What "principles" are you talking about? The woman simply refused to answer direct questions about HER previous urging for investigations .........she wasn't even smart enough to be able to "think on her feet" and evade the questions in a way that didn't call so much attention to her clear embarrassment over her past statements! That's not "sticking to principles"..........that's just a stupid way of trying to pretend it never happened. Also, asking follow-up questions regarding previously stated positions by a politician is NOT in any way something you can characterize as "dragging down to their level"........Matthews was absolutely right and justified in asking those questions.

Step back and look at this incident a little more objectively rather than just spinning.
