You're totally missing the point. There won't be anything for Obama to sign. Appropriations bills won't even get that far. Defunded. Get it?

If you were President and wanted to help out the average citizen to have some extra money to spend, how would you do it? That's right, tax cuts. What is the party of tax cuts? Republicans.

All bills have to be signed by the President, unless you get a 2/3rds majority in the house and the senate.

You're still not getting it. Appropriations bills for Obama's unpopular programs will never make it out of the House. Obama will have nothing to refuse to sign.

They'll raise the debt ceiling. They have to. They will throw out some list of things they will cut or have cut and then blame Democrats for having to raise the debt ceiling.

Step 1. Congress sends President a budget

Step 2. Budget doesn't have an appropriation in it that the President wants

Step 3. President veto's budget that doesn't appropriate funds for the programs he supports

Step 4. Republicans can a. Add funds for the bills. b. Sit on it, and do nothing, shut down the government. c. Try and get a 2/3rds majority in the house and Senate to overwrite the Presidents Veto.

Do you know nothing about appropriations bills?
APPROPRIATIONS BILL

...not to mention the fact that the Dems didn't pass a budget this year.
Dems won't pass budget in 2010

Easy to defund unpopular programs...

The Debt Ceiling is NOT the budget. It's our national Credit limit. The question is, will the Zombies take responsibility for the $14 trilion debt or will they shut down the government like Gingrich did.

You know he CAN veto the whole budget and shut the government down as Clinton did. Most people won't miss the government for a few weeks.

All the President has to do is to not sign any budget that doesn't fund what he wants funded.
