Gay pride parades are loud and obnoxious, like Harley Riders. They, like Harley riders, do it for the "look at me" factor. I am going to be really loud, with my unnecessarily loud motorcycle. It's about attention.

Pretentious people are everywhere. But if you are at a parade.........then it's to get attention, for laughs, for fun, for good times, etc. It's a parade.

You said you were aggravated about gay culture being accepted and integrated into our society. It's already there. And you are mad about that.

So are Glenn Beck and John Stewart rallies, and so is Sturgis.

What you may view as obnoxious, others may view as being overly flamboyant to try and attract attention.

I've seen gay pride parades that are normal, with no weird dress, just normal people exercising their constitutional rights.

Stop spinning. I am aggravated at the unnecessary parade's, interviews, and the general "hey look at me I am gay" attitude.

Anyone else feel Ricky Martin "coming out" is a bit of an anticlimax?

Not like it wasn't already known.

A "mock" ethnic cleansing? Um, if they wanted to. Would be pretty stupid, but if it's not hurting anyone, then its protected speech. I mean, we let that stupid Fred Phelps incest clan church parade around, don't we?

Again, it would be allowed by law if they wanted to portray themselves in such a way.
