Minorities ride GOP wave to groundbreaking wins

Whether I agree with their agenda or not as a minority it is hard to not feel proud of the changing demographic in politics.

African-American:

Tim Scott (South Carolina)
Allen West (Florida)

Hispanic/Latino:

Susana Martinez (New Mexico)
Brian Sandoval (Nevada)
Bill Flores (Texas)
Francisco Canceco (Texas)
Jamie Herrera (Washington)
Marco Rubio (Florida) Future Presidential candidate??
David Reveria (Florida)

Indian:

Nikki Haley (South Carolina)

Of course on the Democrat side:

African-American:

Deval Patrick (Massachusetts) Re-elected
Terri Sewell (Alabama)

Im sure there are more on the Democratic side, but those stood out because I followed their election races.

And not a one of them would have even been considered if Obama does not win in 2008. You would have no M. Steele as head of the rnc and none of these people either. Also no tea party. All the other things would be the same or worse but the tea party only came out because of deep racism. Cubans by the way are racist toward blacks. I have personnlay talked to cubans from florida and they said,"only time I see black people is on the news for a crime", so mister rubio doesnt impress me. Wait until he has to work with the boys from carolina. He has a surprise waiting for him. Enjoy the next two years tea party by 2012 you will have long been exposed for the racist you are.

Did you have a argument against it or just wanted to sling an insult?

I do not think that racism is as much a part of the Tea Party as delusion. As in "make the government smaller, but don't touch my Medicaid or Social Security". End section 8 housing but keep my farm subsudies flowing.

Great news, but how dare they step outside the box that their Dem jailers have fashioned for them.

LOL! Probably means the leftist strategy of race-based politics will crash and burn.

Rubio, Cuban-American raised on the fallacy of "self-made refugee" parents, will now deny Americans universal healthcare for all, and will attempt to cut US programs such as Social Security and Medicare:
Cuba and Emigration: The Myth of Refugees (http://www.globalexchange.org/countries/americas/cuba/3771.html - broken link)
'...During the 1960s, the United States spent over a billion dollars on the Cuban Refugee Program, which sought to help settle, find jobs, and cover the expenses of any Cuban who arrived in that country complaining about socialism. Such a program far outstripped the opportunities which Polish, Hungarians, and other citizens from Eastern European countries enjoyed during the Cold War period. ...'

if you could make a coherent statement rather than your usual knee-jerk allegations of 'racism', maybe i'd have something to argue against.
