HA! Right wingers make me laugh. If you actually follow obama's bills, voting records and stances, they are center/center-right. The republicans get the endorsements of the KKK, national socialists, communist china, muslim saudi arabia, and militia groups.

The green party is an official party. The tea party are nothing but the far right wing evangelical lunatic fringe of the republicans.

The Tea Party movement is a populist,[1] conservative/libertarian[2][3] political movement in the United States that emerged in 2009 through a series of locally and nationally coordinated protests.[4][5][6] The protests were partially in response to several Federal laws: the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008,[7] the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009,[8][9] and a series of healthcare reform bills.[10] The name "Tea Party" echoes the Boston Tea Party, a 1773 incident when colonists destroyed British tea rather than paying what they considered a tax that violated their right to "No Taxation without Representation."[11] As of 2010, it is not a national political party, does not officially run Congressional candidates, and its name has not appeared on any ballots.[12]
You can read more at the Wiki

BTW, if the Tea Party were hijacked by the Republican Party then how do you explain Charlie Crist, among others?

Do I finally see one of you people admitting that progressivism is where you want to be? You do know, of course, that progressivism is nothing short of communism, in the end.

Speaking of which, did you hear the Leader (Glorious) say that Cap and Trade wasn't an end, just a means to an end. That is pure communist talk and he should maybe stop having press conferences when he can't be on the teleprompter.

Every tea party candidate ran as a republican. If they were a true third party, they would run as the tea party.

I saw noone other than some republicans stand with or endorse tea party candidates. Many republicans find the tea party far too right.
Absolutely correct! Cannot rep you again yet

Default Please explain how the Tea Party is not the Republican Party

Of course, you are wrong like the OP and DVD360. You all guess what you think the Tea Party stands for, and make assumtions on those guesses. To clear it up a bit for you the Tea Party backs people that stand by their oath to support the Constitution, and those people who also want less government control of our lives. Their political party has nothing to do with it. It just so happens that most Dems don't take their 'oath of office' very seriously after they are elected. But there are Republicans who don't either.

The Repubs are right of center, the TPers are also right of center, to believe that the TP is anything but a subgroup of the GOP is ludicrous. Now it is time for the right to put up with their many promises or will they be shown to be nothing more than whiners without any viable ideas. For those that believed the promise that healthcare reform will be killed, forget it any such bill will never get past the Senate or the Whitehouse and might have a heck of a time passing in the House. So when can we expect the big turn around in the economy, when will we balance the budget, when education get fixed, when will SS get repaired, when will we balance the budget, when will we ......? I am thinking we give the GOP as long as they gave President Obama, about six months.

.
wrong

here in New York 2 years ago when the POTUS elections were

you could have votyed for obama as a democrat, or a liberal, or a green, or a socialist.....the same as you could have voted for mccain as a republican or a conservative or a rtl

most times the liberals and the democrats are combined...but it is two differnt parties

just as there is a difference between a republican and a conservative

They of course claimed victory last night because they were victorious.. The tea party candidates WON.. Can you name ONE tea party candidate that lost?

Ignoring reality is just ignorant, but because tea party candidates won, and Republicans also won, that doesnt mean they are the same.. Thats like claiming that Obama won an election, Hitler won an election, so they must be the same..
