What will stop Republicans from running America into the ground? Obama was our last best hope. Those credit card companies that had people bent over with 33% APR sub-primes sticking out of their hoo-hoo's got smacked down by the Obama administration. All kinds of consumer protections were brought into being during only the first two years of the Obama administration. Ingrates. You will get what you deserve. And don't think that it will be shifted onto blacks to take the brunt of the misery. Blacks and quite a few Hispanics are down for the count and out. It is the WASP middle class that is squarely in the gunsights and you have no human shields to run interference for you. There is going to be gnashing of teeth and wailing like nothing you have heard because there is no rescue from the joblessness and the wasteful social programs that were keeping your ungrateful behinds out of the tent cities will soon collapse under the weight of demand.

Separate SS from Medicare and you will see that SS is a small problem compared to Medicare. SS can easily be fixed. Medicare, not.

Stop spending money on pork. Eliminate the ability to add additional amendments to existing bills that send money to a non related place. Right the bill, debate the bill, add and remove wording that is related to that bills issue.

If a student uses Government loans to gain an education, allow for that student to eliminate interest via degree related services. IE if a person becomes a lawyer and gets loans. the Interest on the loan can be paid by providing pro bono representation. Hows that for a republican with no ideas?
LOL..ok, you just saved $2 bucks. Got anymore ideas? C'mon, be serious. Those aren't ideas...those are...well, i don't even know what the hell to call your proposals. We're talking about the U.S. budget here, not the budget of the Congo!

Go with America's usual targets for cut-backs; education and healthcare.

Obama put together a Deficit Commission to study where to implement cuts. Every entitlement program including SS and medicare is on the table.

The report is due out in December. We shall see what is recommended..this is our austerity.
Get ready for a wild ride next year.

Why don't you guys pick up a shovel and help? You lauded all this spending when your boys were in charge. Why not help out a bit? Don't you want to set a good example for the rest of us? Sure you do.

Republicans have no clue where to cut spending!

Sure they do, you just have to pay attention.

Of course, if you have some reality based suggestions I'm sure your Congressman would like to hear from you.
