I see eye to eye with you on certain points, but some of what you say confuses me. Are you saying that what happened on Nov. 2nd was due to more minorities living in this country?
The more Third World this country becomes due to immigration, the more socialist it will become, as long as there are SOME whites in power giving handouts from either side of the isle. Then once ruling whites are wiped out of the picture, this country will revert to a Middle Ages backwards form of conservativism that the left in this country has never seen. It will be a Third World form of "conservativism" that consists of women getting stoned to death and extreme racism (this time against whites, or any that are left).
It sounds to me like you are saying that all those problems you list in your middle paragraph there go hand in hand with how things are when "old fashioned whites are in power".
Why are liberals so hateful towards "old fashioned whites" yet so welcoming of everybody else? Many Third World immigrants who immigrate to America come to the South (not just the North). Yet, liberals speak of the Third World countries these immigrants leave as more advanced than the South.
Of course we all know that white red state voters are the only people liberals feel it is okay to hate. Be careful what you wish for. When the Southern white man disappears you can have your multicultural utopia you have dreamed of. You will have the Third World America you always wanted.
And in regards to your post inparticular, it sounds to me like you are suggesting that hispanics and blacks overall are more intelligent than red state whites with your "president martinez " comment. This is another lie liberals love to chant from the hilltops. All you have to do is look at nation wide test scores. Who is doing the worst in school? It isn't Southern whites by any means. It is people who liberals cherish more than they cherish Southern whites.

It's not denial. You might not like what he said. You might not like how he said it but EVERYTHING he said was the truth. This nation has ALWAYS moved forward in terms of civil rights, women's rights, social progress that entitles all Americans to equal treatment under the law. It's been slow and at times painful progress. There have been setbacks along the way but America has ALWAYS moved forward on these issues and it will continue to do so even if Conservatives have to be brought along kicking and screaming and with their knuckles dragging.

Hint hint, Mugabe's Zimbabwe. After he forced much of the white Zimbabweans to leave due to land repatriation, crop yields severely went down, and the country's wealth was zapped away. Rather than making peace with the whites and letting them invest int he Zimbabwean economy so more people would prosper, he forced them out and surprise surprise, toilet paper has more value than the now defunct Zimbabwean dollar.
Can we ever get into these discussions without whites from both sides of the isle trying to prove to each other that they are less racist than the other since they prefer minority candidates over the white ones all the time?

Wow, totally not what I was saying. Sorry if it came off that way. I have never felt the neet to prove to anyone that I am not racist. I voted for Keyes because I liked his positions better than Bush's; he was more conservative, espicially socially. Of course I voted for Bush in the general election.
No one's skin coler makes them better at anything, other than maybe avoiding sunburns. Some people, as mentioned in this thread, voted for Obama because he was Black. Whether that was out of racism, White self-loathing, guilt or whatever, it still is wrong. Voting for someone because of their race or national background is just as racist as voting against someone for the same reason.

The primary objective of the Conservative Movement of the United States is to maintain and expand the political, economic, and social power of White Christians in America and Corporate America. It always has been that way and it always be that way.
Notice that out of control federal spending occurred for eight years before the something called the Tea Party decided to say something about it. Notice that the Tea Party has directed little if any of it's anger at the events that started the massive federal deficits and the credit crises. It was perfectly fine when massive federal deficits were used to ADVANCE THE CONSERVATIVE AGENDA. But now that a Democratic President is in office and no less a non-White President all of a sudden there is OUTRAGE about the path the federal government is on.
Notice the blatantly racist signs that showed up at early Tea Party gatherings. The signs were so bad that Tea Party leaders ask their followers to tone it down due to negative publicity. The signs are gone but the thoughts and motivation are still there.
The anger and passion of the Tea Party is fueled by the fear that what WHITE PRIVILEGE is being threatened and that is something that many White Americans are not willing to live without.
That's why one of their favorite slogans is "Take Back Our Country!"
If you are an American citizen this is your country. Yet you have one group of people who seem to feel they are a little more American than everybody else and that is in part based on WHITE PRIVILEGE.
First America has always had affirmative action. When the only ones that could vote were white males that owned land that was affirmative action. When Black Americans weren't allowed to attend colleges or universities, hold political office or serve on juries that was affirmative action. When women couldn't own property that was affirmative action. White Males have had Affirmative Action in America for hundreds of years often at the expense of the civil rights and fair treatment of women and non-White Americans.
But you don't feel that way. Why? Because you feel that you are entitled to those things and that is the essence of WHITE PRIVILEGE!

I don't agree with the way whites have always treated other races, but you are refering to a time when whites were in the positions they were in due to their own merits. You make it sound as if it was Africans creating the modern world and the whites came in later and demanded affirmative action because they weren't able to compete with Africans. How stupid of you.

Don't count on most of the minority population ever doing that. Some of the most idiotic statements come from my own fellow conservatives it seems. I've already said that White people won't be gone for good. What I said is that White people will not solely dominate America politically, socially or economically.

Nonsense, I'm talking about voter interest in change and/or progressive leadership that could combat the very real threats listed in my 2nd paragraph. It is quite clear that Southern white democrats are almost non-existant. And since I don't believe Republican leadership has any interest in tackling these problems, Southern whites ain't cool with me (although a couple of people I love are them).
The Republican party only talks about spurring the economy and less government. That was fine at times in the past, but we need much much more help in the 21st century.
You just proved my point further. Looking at your first post it sounded like you were suggesting that putting minorities in power would put an end to environmental problems that white Southerners vote to propagate supposedly. Are you or are you not saying that?
Are you serious? Look at most Third World countries. Do you think they do a better job than the South does in taking care of the environment? Look at the border towns in Texas etc... that are being taken over by Mexicans! Then look at most rural parts of Tennessee and Kentucky and look at their farmland and how they take care of horses etc..... Then come back to me and tell me that Southerners don't care about the environment but hispanics etc....do.
