Just another smoke screen from this administration
Obama gave a patsy White House Oval Office speech on the gulf disaster but, also during the speech, he states the need for Carbon Taxes.....Cap and Trade!
The Joyce Foundation --A private U.S. foundation which provides funding and support to initiatives focusing on education, environment and employment in the Great Lakes region. The Joyce Foundation was established in 1948 by Beatrice Joyce Kean of Chicago . Since its inception, the foundation has made grants of more than $600 million. Some of those grants include $1.1 million to Richard Sandor in 2000-2001 to create the Chicago Climate Exchange. Former Board of Directors' members include President Barack Obama (1994-2002) and Valerie Jarrett, his top adviser.
Who will benefit from the Chicago Climate Exchange? You guessed it...Obama and his buddies, the Chicago crew.
Chicago Climate Exchange is North America's only cap and trade system for all six greenhouse gases, with global affiliates and projects worldwide
Who will benefit from Obama's shutdown of drilling in the Gulf? You guessed it...Obama and his buddy, George Soros
Who is Obama getting to again? You guessed it...American Citizens.
Do you really think they will walk away from this kind of money
Thank you for taking the time to post this. These are important details that most people are unaware of. Most people, struggling to make ends meet, looking for a job, don't have time to do this research. They hear a snippet here and there. People need to be made aware of what is really going on and who is behind it and what they have to gain at our expense. And with so much at stake, nobody is going to give up as easily as the OP tries to make us believe.
Would have repped you but have to spread some around first.
Obama needs to all the environmental stuff on the back burner for now. He needs to only work on JOBS JOBS and JOBS!
Can government really create enough jobs to take care of the situation? Not until it becomes the government of a real socialist state, and it seems he is going to have plenty of trouble getting us there.
Obama once again shows that he is willing to compromise. Will Republicans give him credit for it?
Never. I half expect them to suddenly start supporting cap and trade because everyone knows they always take the opposite position of Obama no matter what.
Compromise? He's going to circumvent Congress and stick a gun to the head of the American people with the EPA.
True and the good news is that Congressman Darrell Issa, as the soon to become new chairman of the House Government Oversight and Reform Committee, will then subpoena EPA officials, so the American public knows what's really going on in the Obama administration.
I predict C-Span ratings will really go up in the next two years.
I think I already can see the answer to my question. Obama won't get credit for compromising. He'll get nothing from Republicans but vitriol, anger, and a complete lack of interest in working together.
Are you so easily overlooking the FACT that Barry spent the last two years unwilling to compromise with anyone ?
He was too busy shoving his agenda up the American peoples butt to be interested in compromise.
lets wait and see what that idiot tries to shove down our throat the next few weeks.
Obama is now a lame duck and a one term president. Giving up on bad ideas and trying to force bad ones through by chicanery is not compromise.
He is now irrelevant.
There is a Democratic Senate and he has the power of the veto. He's still VERY relevant.
Obama once again shows that he is willing to compromise. Will Republicans give him credit for it?
You are quite naive. Get back to us when he actually does compromise.
