I just watched the video over on the "were not a political operation" thread, and it isn't even so much that Hannity gave the money, its that the guy gushed openly and overtly a political endorsement and campaign fund raiser.

I do not know what the laws are regarding this sort of thing, but even if legal, then I don't see how anyone can possibly consider Fox to be news. I could hear the outrage now if the NY Times ran a front page ad saying "Elect Obama in 2012" and then ran two pages of gushing praise from Johnathon Alter on why every American should vote for the guy.

When other MSM take note and ridicule/mock the coverage from their slate of leftist nuts, that's pretty bad.
Your anger tonight is more pronounced than usual, yet oddly underwhelming.

They did endorse him and do have gushers like Alter constantly singing his praises.

Well what Fox does is claim that Hannity, Beck etc are entertainers and not journalists (which is true of course), despite the fact that they are essentially synonymous with that particular network.

Disingenuous? Of course.

Surprising? No.

Is any of this really a surprise to anyone, I mean really? We all know FOX favors Conservatives and MSNBC favor Liberals. The rules are different at each company, just like Coke has rules and regs that Pepsi doesn't.

Look one post above this and SEE that Tn is a bit mistaken about media outlets endorsing candidates and then cheerleading for them, which of course the NYT DID do and continues to do today.

Oh my. Some conservatives have drunk so much Limbaugh-flavored Kool-Aid that I sometimes have to just roll my eyes and wave them off.

Hey, Punk have you seen this story about Olbermann? It seems he is on the outside looking in and maybe for some time. I nearly died laughing at the headline.
