I've never heard anyone actually claim Fox news is impartial in their coverage. Usually the response involves criticizing the "liberal mainstream media" or praising Fox for waging a war against liberalism and the Democratic party, however I've yet to come across someone bold enough to claim Fox news is "fair and balanced" in their coverage.
I'd also like to point out that Fox's bias extends beyond their opinionated political commentators (which in case anyone noticed are all conservative/GOP). Their "news" coverage is saturated with favorable coverage of the GOP and constant criticism of this president and the Democratic party. It's blatantly obvious they're the republican party's media outlet.
There are plenty of radio talk shows on the FM dial & satellite radio where I get my political news coverage as well.
Fox isn't the only one out there.

If for some odd ball reason Fox were to go off the air tomorrow, it would have little to zero effect on the side of the right.

This is practised by all the major news networks. CNN/MSNBC/Fox/NBC/CBS/ABC...it's all the same propaganda, just from slightly different angles.
"Brit Hume would usually sign off with, "That's Special Report for this time, please tune us in next time, and in the meantime, more news is on the way — fair, balanced and unafraid." When Bret Baier became host, he signed off with, "Your source for news, tonight and every night,"[4] which he later changed to, "Straightforward news in uncertain times." As of January 2010, Baier uses Hume's classic "fair, balanced and unafraid" sign-off.
I'm sure in response to the bully-in-chief in the White House, Baier went back to the old sign off. I guess "Fair, balanced and kicking ass in the ratings, Mr President" was too over the top.
