The poster was making this point. How would anyone feel if their own child was water-boarded. They would be very upset. Why? Because it is torture and torture is cruel and wrong.
She can make her point without talking about another posters children. Also, lets be real here, children are not soldiers and are not sitting Guantanamo Bay and as not the people that plan acts of war.

Thats what I find so weird about some Christians view that the bible is the indisputable word of God.
Yet when you bring up Deuteronomy and Leviticus, and some of the other books you get excuses like. "That was the old law" and "Jesus created a new covenant".
The way I see it is, if God is all powerful, and never wrong, why did Jesus have to correct him. So many inconsistencies in the Christian religion.

Only three have been waterboarded............Suuuuurrrrreeeee.......... and the world is a safer place since George W. Bush and Dick Cheney decided to spread "freedom" in the Middle East. And no detainees were waterboarded at GITMO other than these three.
