I find it ridiculous that at a time like this companies continue to get tax breaks for outsourcing American jobs. We should be rewarding companies who keep jobs here, and place stiff tariffs on companies who ship our jobs overseas. With so many unemployed why are we encouraging employers to send our jobs somewhere else? Its just sick.

Republicans are anti union and anti labor, corporations have moved offshore with the help of those representatives who were bought and paid for by lobbyists and corporations. All the jobs were moved outside the country in the past three decades and it will not change soon.

Offshoring has been going on since the 70's.

The Republicans have not been in power in Congress for some time now..Dems owned Congress since 2006/2007.

This is neither Dem nor Repub. Do you think corporations care about which party is in power ? Corporations don't care who is in power as long as they can lobby for their own interests. Don't you understand that ?

So should these companies get a tax break?

Given their unwavering support of free market capitalism, one must assume that Republicans are for it.

Tax Breaks and Outsourcing Jobs | The GOP Set the Stage for Rise in Unemployment

Washington, D.C. (Oct 14) – Jobs, jobs, jobs mid-term elections 2010 is all about the jobs, economic stabilization, and unemployment rates.
Republicans have little else to offer than promises of outsourcing more American jobs to foreign investors albeit friendly or not, and reducing the tax rates, mainly for themselves as, mega-rich GOP candidates are flooding the ballots nationwide.

This toxic mixture spells disaster for the U.S. economy, the unemployed, underemployed as well as, the millions more American workers that will become the victims of Republican backed Foreign Tax credits. As the GOP, plans are to close down more U.S. factories and call centers only to ship those jobs overseas as a reward to the wealthy in the form of tax credits.

Giving companies tax breaks while they outsource American jobs is insane!

Tax breaks are on an individual basis and should sat that way. How ever there should be more incentives to bring outsourced jobs back home
Also however we must remember that while we wish that we were self dependant we live in a global economy and if we harm one we may harm our selves.

It's quite lucrative for the politicians that sign on to it. What's insane are the people that continue voting them back in.

No issues with the millions of illegal immigrants taking our jobs right here in the US and sending the money back home to Mexico?

How about Canadians coming across our border to work then spending their pay back home in Canada?

How about legal immigration that continues to displace American workers?

If you want to make America a more attractive place to do business by lowering our outrageous 35% corporate tax rate and reducing the regulation manufacturers are forced to comply with, I say great.

As for what you are talking about, I'll have to see the details of anything written by this Congress before signing on.
