Both Bushes and Reagan far outspent their Democratic counterparts. In fact, you'll notice the only time Repubs worry about spending is under a Democratic President, and that is pure politics.
LOL...love how they all avoided commenting on your post. That chart was pretty damning.
Of course, now they're all saying that Presidents don't spend, Congress does. Hilarious. Nevermind that Bush didn't veto a single spending bill under the Republican Congress.
Where are all the jobs the Bush tax cuts were supposed to create?
Even after 9-11, there were a record setting 52 straight months of job growth in the private sector, under bush, which came to a screeching halt, January 3rd, 2007.
They were all lost in Barney Franks telling everyone everything is OK, as Fannie & Freddie were feeding him the beef.
"Look at the results of the last few presidents. It has not mattered if the President was a Republican or a Democrat. They all added to the deficit. The irony is that Republican presidents have actually reigned over the largest deficit increases."
Ronald Reagan still holds the record for raising the most taxes of any California governor. He also implemented some of the strictest environmental laws in California history. Republicans hate to admit that Reagan was a pragmatic governor and president much more liberal than any Republican in today's loon-filled GOP.

You're comparing two years of Obama versus 8 years of W.

Quite hilarious, except it is clearly outlined in the Constitution under Article I, Section 7, Clause 1 ("Origination Clause") that all spending bills must originate in the House.
If you take in the size of the US economy at the time(gross GNP) and divide it by the amount of spending you will noticed the largest gap in spending we have ever had is Reagan/Bush Sr. But hey I guess statistics scare ignorant people right? Its those dirty Democrats ruining out glorious free loving nation!
perhaps you should look at which party controlled the spending in those years, hint it WASNT THE REPUBLICANS!
