I don't think kids need to be "taught" in that way to have sex. Even my straight-laced mom used to say it's "doing what comes naturally"!

Why it's bad for one person in a relationship to be more responsible, mature and experienced in life than the other is something I've never figured out.

There isn't a lie they could come up with that I didn't try as a teen.
Besides, my girls don't lie about anything - that's one of the important lessons we have taught them - the punishment will be worse for the lie than it would have been for the initial "crime".

There is no law prohibiting anyone from eating rocks and centipedes. Nor is it considered a public scourge that anyone needs to be warned against. People just don't do it.
Obviously there are enough people who like to associate with those of divergent maturity to have generated some degree of controversy.

Thanks for this. Y'all should read it. Some interesting insights there. I doubt it will mean anything in the long run. Americans know they are backwards and conflicted and that it is costing them in lives, pain and social breakdown but seem unable to evolve out of their provincialism.
