Perhaps so, but by "blind leading the blind" I meant in general, not just in the bedroom.

Why it's bad for one person in a relationship to be more responsible, mature and experienced in life than the other is something I've never figured out.

Since I know my girls and myself fairly well, and you don't, I don't think so, I know so.

There isn't a lie they could come up with that I didn't try as a teen.

Besides, my girls don't lie about anything - that's one of the important lessons we have taught them - the punishment will be worse for the lie than it would have been for the initial "crime".

Maybe because people like to associate with those of similar maturity.

To precisely whatever extent that is true, it makes no sense codifying it or preaching it.

There is no law prohibiting anyone from eating rocks and centipedes. Nor is it considered a public scourge that anyone needs to be warned against. People just don't do it.

Obviously there are enough people who like to associate with those of divergent maturity to have generated some degree of controversy.

Well, there is pedophilia, where an adult takes advantage of a child's immaturity.

Yes, but that introduces a whole raft of other issues including physical immaturity that don't exist in more typical cases.
