The Conservatives in England apparently feel the only people that should have higher Education, are the wealthy. Sound Conservative theory.

They aren't asking for it to be free, simply, not triple. That results in excluding a large number of students.

And why are they raising tuition? To make a dent in their massive budget deficit. Sound familiar?

Excluding lower class folks from the banquet protects upper class exclusivity and privilege. That is what conservatives, here or there, do without thinking about the damage to lives and overall wealth of their nation.

Changing college tuition from Federal funding to private sector banks cost students and their families billions. The increased cost drove many to low productivity and lower paying jobs. The huge debts have forced many potential entrepreneurs into wage slave jobs because they are not financeable with their huge debts. These absurdities were just another way of transferring money from the Have Nothings, but are trying, to the Haves and Have Mores. By excluding the students that could not afford, or were smart enough to avoid the excessive tuition and loans, class exclusivity was also reinforced.

I will be criticized for this but I refuse to go along with denying class warfare even though the winners don’t want the situation even exposed.

I am currently watching this on the news, and all I see is a bunch of crazy, violent and out of control liberals setting fires, causing trouble etc. I certainly have never seen anything like this at any tea party events.

Just spent a little time on the FOX Happening Now interactive. Conserves seem to be all in a tizzy about these students being upset at a 300% increase. Threw a few digs in on them, it's quite fun.

What a shame their government didn't think about those undesirable consequences as they continued their socialist overspending.

You guys do know that the "Conservative" Party in the UK is pretty much the British equivalent of the Blue Dog Democrats and RINOs here? If they were a party here, they would be centrist at least, center-left at most.

This is what happens when the socialist Labour Party rule the government for over a decade. They overspend money they don't have, and the solution for their conundrum is to provide ever more benefits at the cost of the taxpayers and you end up with a situation in which almost one million Brits move to live in Spain permanently, more than a million go to Australia, and hundreds of thousands come to New Zealand, Canada, and the U.S. combined. If they want to keep tuition low, then they should stop subsidizing the EU, EU students via ERASMUS (if you don't know what it is, imagine California subsidizing tuition for students from New York), get rid of the Equality and Human Rights Commission (no time to delve into just how bad an institution this is), and so many other departments that Labour has either created or inflated to ridiculous levels. Their government growth is out of control and this is the first step of austerity that MUST be taken. You CAN'T keep spending forever, that's what faulty logic of the liberal
