It was a neocon moment: there they were, the organizers of the Foreign Policy Initiative, the new neoconservative think-tank – Bill Kristol, Dan Senor, and Robert Kagan, with Clifford May, Randy Scheunemann, and junior neocon James Kirchick in tow. It was the occasion of FPI’s first public event – their Washington coming out party, so to speak – and who should show up but I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby. A more fitting symbol of the neoconservative tendency in American politics – its history, its methods, and its essential criminality – could hardly be conceived.
That would be Randy Scheunemann, Palin's foreign policy adviser and a member of her small inner circle. He runs a Washington, D.C., consulting firm called Orion Strategies. Scheunemann and a partner have since 2003 been paid over $150,000 by one of Soros' organizations for lobbying work, according to federal disclosure forms reviewed by Salon. The lobbying, which has continued to the present, centers on legislation involving sanctions and democracy promotion in Burma.
(So Glenn Beck's democracy-hater George Soros wants to promote democracy in Burma? I guess there'll be a thread on that, when Honest Glenn decides to mention it.)
Anyway, small world, strange bedfellows. Could this be why Mrs. P hasn't spoken out against Soros, who we all know is determined to bring down the United States, and only one plucky morning drive DJ stands in his way?
And Joe Miller, the Tea Party favorite from Alaska who promised to slash all these federal programs like Social Security, was found out to have relatives who received benefits.
But a Palin aide on the Soros payroll is actually much darker, because from everything I've read from conservatives, Soros actually controls the Democratic Party.
I wonder if SHE is really the witch and not O'Donnell?
