Nonetheless, Fox News reportedly continues to support Beck:

Joel Cheatwood, a senior vice president at Fox News, said in a statement Thursday afternoon that the "information regarding Mr. Soros's experiences growing up were taken directly from his writings and from interviews given by him to the media, and no negative opinion was offered as to his actions as a child."
In fact, Beck has distorted one of Soros' interviews in advancing his false allegation. Beck has claimed: "In an interview with Steve Kroft, Soros was asked if he felt guilt at all about taking the property from the Jews as a teenager. He responded, no." In fact, Soros told Kroft that he felt no guilt for "taking the property from from the Jews" because he had not done so:

It was his first visit to such a mansion, and the first time he rode a horse. He collaborated with no one and he paid attention to what he understood to be his primary responsibility: making sure that no one doubted that he was Sandor Kiss. REALITY: LSE is a mainstream university that many prominent conservatives have attended. While it is true that LSE was founded by four members of the Fabian Society 1895, Beck's suggestion that the school is a socialist indoctrination center is ridiculous.
