So now Sarah's reality series is turning into "Bedtime for Bonzo"? They ridiculed Ronald Reagan for being on TV, having made some lousy "B" movies, and when he became seriously political, that movie was mentioned in more comedy monologues than you can count. Johnny Carson had a field day. Sarah's series, on the other hand, is very well-done, entertaining, and all politics aside, my family and I enjoyed watching it. The popularity of the show proves that there are more Americans that identify with Sarah, and fewer idealogue elitists like Obama than you might think. (By the way, I'd like to see Obama try to climb a glacier).

Why would I want to see Obama try to climb a glacier? For the laughs, mostly. He did so well at bowling.
Money aside (Obama's a millionaire, too), Sarah is more one of US - we're the deer hunting, Bible toting, conservative middle Americans that came out in masses in November - and there are more of us than you will find in California and New York. We like Sarah because she is not one of the idealogically elite eggheads; she espouses our moral fiber, and believes like we do in less government interference in our lives. We don't have anything in common with people like Obama, and some of us are rapidly discovering it. We are Americans first and foremost, not "citizens of the world". We don't want our "wealth" spread around, what little there is of it. Regardless of who runs in 2012, those are the qualities that we want. Obama doesn't have them, doesn't listen to us, and still doesn't get it.
But... what they said doesn't really matter. If her show gets ratings, and I think it will given the loyalty her followers have for her, she'll still be laughing all the way to the bank.
