Good article on the link below about how the rich have declared war on the middle class. They want the power and they don't want the middle class to have a chance of any gains on them. Click the link to read.

Good article. Middle class folks really need to wake up and stop being hypnotized by silly "talking points" and "culture wars."

It was exactly this process of money printing and bankrupting of retirees that destroyed the German middle class in the early 1920s, giving rise to Adolph Hitler.
Any article that suggests the current economic situation in America might give rise to a new Adolf Hitler is garbage in my eyes.

Did you actually read this drivel before posting it?

Lightbulb ~~~*~~~

This article speaks of what has happened and is happening and if you chose to ignore it that is your perogative. You have to act against this in order to be a part of the solution.

The late George Carlin knew what was going on.

The sad fact is white, working class Americans don't have the intellect to vote in their family's own self interest. They get fooled by right wing propaganda.

Unable to understand mildly complex issues, they will not stick up for their Social Security benefits, their kid's public education. They are actually demanding now that the rich's marginal tax rates be lowered in a time of record deficits. Don't even think to try and explain Keynesian economic theory to them....they are too lazy and willfully ignorant to go there.

The gap between rich and poor is the highest in our Nation's history and the corporate elites have them convinced that the problems in unions, and taxes, and middle class entitlement programs.

How right you are, you have a point here.

George Carlin, most definitely knew what was going on, and did not mind telling us over and over again. I love his humor, it was very different but so spot on in telling the truth. More People should be aware as he was.

So you are comfortable (and not offended) by flippant Hitler comparisons?

The rich don't have any legal channels that us 'regular folk' don't also have access to. They are simply more educated on the tax systems. Stop whining about the rich and educate yourself and maybe you won't be stuck in middle class your whole life.

Shrub had already declared war on the middle class.

Anyone remember the bumperstickers from the 60s and 70s?
