It may force a change of procedures down the road but on 11/24 they won't just suddenly relax the regulations. Plus you'll have angry pissed-off passengers behind you telling you to stop being a jerk and get the line moving so they don't miss their plane.

Are you flying on 11/24? If not then buy a cheap short hop ticket and fly just to make the point. Which is more important? Making a point or missing Thanksgiving?

1. You greatly overestimate how many people really care about scanners.

2. From that subset you also overestimate how many care enough to walk the walk.
I agree that most don't care enough but I wanted to point it out just in case a sheep or two in the forum might wake up and have a Eureka moment and start to care enough to walk the walk. I know I wouldn't submit to those body scanners in a million years.

I already have been patted down when they were doing "random" searches pat downs before they put the body scanners in the airports and that was bad enough! I probably would make it near impossible for them to grope me by buying and wearing several layers of adult diapers and maybe tell the TSA offials the diapers were full.

Remember: Opt out day is 11/24. Everyone opt out of airport naked body scanning

Not this.

Really, with the Patriot Act still in full effect THIS is what America has chosen to be upset about? Really?

I will say one thing, if you called me a traitor to my face, you'd be picking yourself up off the floor. I served in our armed forces and THE LAST thing I am is a traitor to this great nation.

With that, I'm done with you.
I believe Benedict Arnold was a Great American General prior to his treasonous acts.

There were a lot of 'good Germans' too, just following orders.

Another reason to opt out...it is just another corrupt back room deal between a govt official and a big corporation.
