Couric did most American's a favor, by exposing Palin as an empty suit.
I said MOST Americans.
The ignorant will NEVER learn.

Maybe, it was that crazy notion of women to women, what a silly notion!!
Katie of all people would know how it feels to compete in a mans world. You would think she would have considered not embarrassing, looked like a whole lot of jealous and brown nosing on Katie's part.

Sarah was caught off guard. Who needs to read newspapers, especially when they are mostly one sided, to get the news, there are plenty other ways. That doesn't mean, that out in Alaska, they don't know what's going on.

Women to women? So Palin is a feminist now? LOL...gimme a break.

Katie Couric brown-nosing Palin? Really? Jealous of Palin? Katie Couric is supposed to have empathy with Palin because they both compete in a "man's world?" Nevermind!

Palin was caught off guard? In an interview where she surely agreed previously to answer ALL relevant questions? She was simply asked about what she reads to get information. If she thought that the papers are too one-sided, then list the publications that you DO read. I mean really, Palin actually strikes you as someone who wants fair and balanced news? LOL...don't make me laugh. She ONLY listens to and reads hard right news, and i'd bet everything i own on it that i'm right. Nothing wrong with that, but lets not pretend that she doesn't.

As for Alaska, i don't know what they know up there. What i do know is that they rail against big government, yet they're our largest welfare state, but they act as if they DON'T KNOW THAT!!!

Palin was caught off guard, by an interview she previously agreed to do, huh?
Must have been caught REALLY off guard, 'cause she left her IQ home.

Really? Any other news programs? And what programs would that be? ABC, CBS, NBC, the pablum driven news readers?

MSNBC... wait, doesn't Senator Rocketfella want them thrown off the air along with Fox? Oh wait, the FCC can't do that and the Senator doesn't even know it. Wonder what papers he reads... I mean, here's a U.S. Senator endorsing censorship.

Maybe she can do a newspaper interview, say, for JournoList. Oh, wait... their newspaper is shutting down as well. And just two years ago the JournoList was driving the narrative bus. Now they're under the bus.

Damn, Palin would have been better off if she'd just said she gets her info from Newsweek, the progressive rag of record.

Damn, news reliability is getting scarce these days. Who can you trust? Guess we'll all have to do our own investigations and sort thru the facts ourselves.

Is it me, or is the right-wing narrative all over the place, here? Apparently Katie Couric is a left wing hack of low intelligence, yet at the same time she managed to come up with a question so cunning, so sneaky and underhanded, that it overcame even the political genius that is Palin.

Couric was fine for a morning entertianment show but she really is up to a new anchors job ;IMO. She bascially in that entview was like always trying to make a name and be taken seriously but failed because she was attacking not interviewing.

Now that was funny!

Thanks for the laugh!

To all of those who are so convinced that Palin is so dim that she couldn't come up with the name of a paper...think about it for a minute. Really.

A journalism major. A sitting Governor. Do you really, really think she's so stupid that she couldn't even think of the name of a major newspaper?? Or is it possible that she was simply frustrated/annoyed/ whatever at the questions, at the implications (so how DO you manage to keep up with the news way up there??).

I mean come on already...a little common sense here.
