President Obama will get my vote in the next election but I would be great if the Republican party wasn't so dysfunctional/delusional and nominate someone such as Mitt Romney....but alas, they are not

Sarah Palin unfortunately combines being ignorant along with a sort of hubris. She believes she is capable of anything, including being President of the United States.

I have noticed that when Sarah's followers defend her, they never speak in a positive sense. Their argument is never "well you're wrong because....". Instead, they make a negative argument in which they more or less admit that Sarah may be "inexperienced", than they proceed to say that Barack Obama was too inexperienced to be President as well.

The problem with that argument is that if you look closely it just doesn't ring true. Sarah had served for Governor of Alaska less than two years before John McCain selected her as a running mate. Her only experience in elective office before this was a stint as mayor of Wasilla, Alaska. This is a small city and this job was part time, as opposed to full time. Sarah's education is relevant and left much to be desired as well. It took her eight years of study to earn a BS Degree in Journalism after attending no fewer than five colleges. Oh, I guess you could say she has been a sort of commentator on FOX News as well.

Barack Obama attended Yale Law School and was elected Editor of Law Review. He served in the Illinois Legislature and ran unsuccessfully for the US House of Representatives. He was elected to US Senate from Illinois in 2004 and served 4 years in the Senate before President. During his four years in the US Senate, Obama sat on the foreign relations committee.

It is true that Obama could have more experience, but these qualifications at least constitute a sort of "entry-level" to be President.

Honestly, the idea that people could think that someone with Palin's background could serve in the highest office in this land is beyond frightening. Its just plain dangerous.
Excellent! You forgot one important thing: Palin-Fans accuse Obama for being inexperienced, yet they would not have a problem when the inexperienced Sarah Palin would become president. Hypocrisy!

When corrected, I didn't hear Sarah say something like: "Oh yes, South Korea! That is what I meant."

Instead, Sarah says this:
"Eh, Yeah. And we’re also bound by prudence to stand with our South Korean allies, yes."

Does it make sense to you that we are allies with both North and South Korea?

I don't think it's going to happen. Southern Republicans tend not to like him, or at least they didn't last time, and I don't think you can get the Republican nomination without performing well in the South.

I say we are approaching a time when the good ole right and left paradigm are not going to work. Is conservatism really working? Nope, b/c there is always some a-hole who want power and praise. They just cannot leave things alone. Our system is set up that way: entitlements, butt kissery and a stupid media to give it that circus feel. The generations to come will pay dearly for the mistakes of previous voter trends as America becomes more and more police state.None of these political players make any sense.
In a more reasonable world, Sarah Palin wouldn’t be causing this fuss. Well, no more fuss than any other person in political life. But she’s breaking barriers. It’s time to let them fall and engage women in a real way.

You're grasping at straws. Give me a break. Anyone with a brain knows what she meant to say.

But you people still have no excuse for Obama and his repeated "mistakes" like we have "57 states"? And that was on several occasions, not just one.

Why not? After all we give Pakistan AND India foreign aid. We also give aid to both Israel AND Palestine.
