Why report real news, when you can just find anything and throw it out there?
"For a news outlet to retain credibility, standard industry procedure dictates that reporters and editors not only correct mistakes, but acknowledge them as well. Fox Nation had done neither at time of this writing."
Not just delete the story and hope no one noticed. Even after Fox has been repeatedly mocked for presenting satire as news.
One must wonder if the comments portray an even more bizarre picture of their readers. The commenter's posting about the article never even bothered to read the reference link that pointed to The Onion for a considerable amount of time. Instead many complained they were not part of his email list and commented randomly about mental health in relation to Hitler.
That's fair and balanced for ya...................
Wow, that was a grasp of air!!
Is this really a serious post?
Or were you just fabricating to get a reaction?
Did you just not know?
You don't need "cable" to get ABC, NBC, and CBS. That is what they refer to as the "main stream media" Not something you need to purchase cable TV for.
MSNBC, CNN, Fox and the other cable news, are not mainstream.
Yes, to your amazment, there are many people that don't have full access to cable TV, or the internet.
My local Fox station, doesn't have a national 'nightly news" show, like ABC, NBC, and CBS have. there local evening news is an hour long, and national news is reported by the local anchors.
They don't even count the viewers on the local Fox affiliate, which according to our viewers, Fox local news is the highest in viewer ratings, in a liberal town like Austin!!
I do service work in a lot of peoples homes and the TV is on Fox Cable News, I'd say 75% of the time I enter the home.
Make up your mind. You say Fox isn't mainstream, but it's being viewed in 75% of your calls.
Fox would not be the first News Station, to scr-- up a news-story, or not check facts, nothing upsetting about this, except too many need something about nothing to write about. Wouldn't be the first nor will it be the last time a News Story, gets so screw-- up, or facts will not be checked. What's the big deal here, except, oh i know, you people need to bit-- about Fox, your daily vitamin i guess.
It wouldn't be as innocent as screwing up or failing to fact check if you've made it your life work to annihilate any and all opposition. Your posting history has progressively degenerated and long term prognosis doesn't look good. Perhaps you need to catch a breath between rants? You must feel horribly alone out there in California. I think you'd get along famously in Florida.

they are starting to sound more and more like msnbc, abc and cbs.
First of all, Fox News has never, except for its name, considered itself to be a NEWS source but just a Right Wing propaganda outlet. They have even claimed that in a legal trial. I believe them so I don't have to listen to their fictions.
I am beginning to believe that All news, except for the local fires, car accidents and robberies, is completely fiction. Some is better written than others but most are insane.
