I don't see why we can't legalize rape/murder. What will happen is that the rapists/murderers will in turn be raped and murdered, just not in prison or in the electric chair. Swindlers and other white collar criminals will probably also be murdered rather quickly, rather than be given a slap on the wrist. In fact I would like to see a bit of street justice rather than a slow, expensive, broken judicial system. Spice it up!

Your ramblings seem to have nothing to do with "modern liberalism". Not many modern liberals are advocating individual rights to the extent of legalization of rape and murder, so I'm not sure what valid point you think you have...
