Interpol, the international police organisation, have issued a global arrest warrant for WikiLeaks' Julian Assange, as the activist website continued its US diplomatic cables leaks today.
The 39-year-old Australian was added to the organisation's "wanted" list for alleged sex crimes committed in Sweden earlier this year.
He is suspected of rape, sexual molestation and unlawful coercion, after an investigation by Swedish prosecutors into his encounters with two women in Sweden in August.
Quick..damage his name, drag him through the mud. Make him look like he's a totally untrustworthy guy. Damage his name and reputation so people will stop reading those state dept cables.
Didn't they do the same thing with the last release of US "secret" papers ?
Yup..sure enough. Sweden issued a warrant for the same thing in August 2010 right after papers on Afghanistan were leaked. Sweden then withdrew the warrant.
His next leak is supposed to be about some big US bank.
Now that's stepping on some powerful toes..the banksters.
I'd consider the banksters worse than any government to get on your bad side.
BTW, What's your take on this? If you feel that this is the right response as far as international pressure goes, than I'm with you. What do you think?
