"For them, I see no future in the Netherlands because of anti-Semitism, particularly under Moroccan Dutch people," said Bolkestein. According to him, it is therefore better if their children for example, America or immigrate to Israel. He finds that Arab TV channels which here be viewed via the dish, a bad influence on the Moroccan and Turkish youth.

Rabbi Evers, connected to the Dutch Israelite Church Fellowship, believes that the Government must tackle anti-Semitism better. "There needs to be from the Government a very clear signal that anti-Semitism must not, cannot. For example, by banning haatpreken of imams via television dish. The Middle East must not drift. "

He says the note of Bolkestein to understand. "There is an upward trend in the number of cases of anti-Semitism. That is worrying. But that doesn't mean we should emigrate but directly. That is not a solution and is not of decisive actions. "

Spent a lot of time in the Netherlands when i lived in Europe. Seriously...you could probably find more anti-semitism in Idaho than in the Netherlands. Besides, the Muslim population there is only about 4.5% of the total population. Hopefully, the Jews of Holland surely won't let themselves be run out of that country by such a tiny minority of people. 20% of Israel is of Arab extraction, so it surely wouldn't be any better if they immigrate there.

As you'll see as this thread winds along, anti-semitism is not confined to the Netherlands.

There are some parts where you feel you're in Algeria, not Netherlands.
Wasn't Theo Van Gogh murdered in Amsterdam? It seems this small minority is making it's presence felt.
