It was just the first part of the week that all the news was focused on if we had “all” of the additional troops in Iraq and if the surge was working or not. Now we don’t need to think about the surge anymore. Quick look over here now,,,,, forget about the surge, nothing to see folks keep it moving.

There's a progress report on Iraq due soon that's not likely to be flattering.
I wonder if any enterprisinf reporter has done a study of just how often we get reports of an increasing threat at the same time bad news is released?
Keith Olbermann did a fine job (I think last year) showing a direct correlation between bad news and increased 'terror warnings'. Check Youtube for videos, I think something like the Nexus of Politics and Terror.
