The plain, unvarnished truth ...but I doubt they'll drop their class envy mindset long enough to understand that.

That is the attitude we are talking about. This is why some people do not donate their time or money to charity, i mean, why should they have to give away money, if no one else is going to.
Yep. And THIS is why we all have to be forced to pay.

Republican v. Democrat v. Tea Party; liberal v. conservative - whatever.

The obvious way to erase the deficit as quickly as possible is to do both, cut spending AND increase taxes. I'm for both, honestly, as long as the cuts are AT LEAST equal to the the increase in taxes and preferably more than equal.

Cutting spending alone, or raising taxes alone is not the answer, IMO.

Just take a look at those in his cabinet, who don't believe in paying taxes. Does not surprise me one bit they want to bit-- about these things, but turn around, and don't hede their own advice, they are hypocrites.

Dems are always whining or crying about something, instead of trying to fix this lame, sucky, downhill economy. But one thing they are good at............... BLAMING OTHERS FOR THEIR MISTAKES.

They are so good, at acting as if they care about us all, the compassisonate bunch, they can fool some but not all!

I'd like to know why Democrats don't just dump their money into the treasury ( at will ).

You can pay more into the IRS than they require.

If you want to make a difference for your cause, now is the time.

But you won't.
Yooperkat !!! ... On The Money !

Indeed these little bundles of misery (DINO's) are most certainly as balmy as they come!

Surely these sickening "simpletons" will totally destroy anything and everything American if they are allowed to continue spewing forth their moronic political mindset !

In final anaysis it appears that these "Puddin Heads" in no wise resemble in the least ... the once proud and hardworking Democratic Party that most folks today remember !!!

If there are any "True Democrats" left in this country, they should work most vigoriously to completely purge these reprehensible "Looney Liberal" stigmata's from their ranks !!!

If American's vote wisely during the 2012 election it may well represent the "Begining Of The End" for many of these repulsive little blokes !!!

Come on America ... Wake Up !!! Thanks / Old Sgt. Lamar

That is correct. Nor was it the currently unemployed who are now being called 'lazy'.

california-jewel !!! ... Well Said !

This is a classic example of what happens when the absolute "Bottom Of The Barrel Puddin Heads" are elected to public office !

We are truly "In For It" as long as these exceedingly foolish folks remain in office !!!

Thanks Y'ALL / Old Sgt. Lamar

You are correct but, do you believe the GOP is any different?
I do not.

Why don't we just let the Tax Breaks expire. Then we can all start paying off the debt

Their whole thing is to spend other people's money, not their own.
Legally people like the 80 multi-millionaires wanting higher taxes can (as you say) donate money to the treasury. The treasury does and can take donations.
Liberals want a Great Society socialists paradise (which is a slow walk toward communism). It has failed and it is the socialism within our Capitalistic Republic that has caused our deficits.
