I accessed an AEI sponsored debate with Representative Paul Ryan and columnist David Brooks participating. I found the link at Powerline Blog and really just wanted to share an opportunity to listen and to hear what Rep. Ryan has to say. I firmly believe Ryan will, in short order, be working for the U.S. in an executive capacity, not necessarily by choice.

The moderator speaks first then Ryan then Brooks. Ryan rebuts but then leaves for a House vote.

Government is evil, by definition. It is a necessary evil, and tolerable when limited to (a) securing rights, and (b) governing those who consent to be governed.
Beyond that, it is suspect.
