Katie, if your heart was in the right place, you'd buy your homeless friend a quart of ethylene glycol to help him stave off the cold.
Prestone offers it as a pre-mixed solution, that is said to "go down smoother" and works every bit as well, as the full strength stuff.
He'll be good all the way down to about, minus 25, Celsius.

I'm pretty sure that if you dedicate yourself to the task, with enough time and effort, you could paint homeless people as kiddy fiddlers deserving of death.

Because that way, people could psychologically push that whole homeless thing to the back of their minds. So very satisfied that *those* people weren't worth an oz of humanity.

Should have thought about that when they decided to become a sex offender. No sympathy.

Another view.

A sex offender and a child molester are not always the same thing.

Not to long ago I read about a 18 year old male and a 15 year old girl.

Yes, she got pregnant. Her parents filed complaints with the authorities.

He did almost a year in county.

Now they are married, he is having a hard time getting a job because he is on the sex offender list.

He would like to support his family.

Very rare case, and rare cases should not be used to dictate policy.

He can and should fight that label, but they shouldn't change policy because of this.

This is the kind of case I immediately thought about when reading this thread.

Whenever I hear the label "sex offender", I wonder if the person is REALLY a sex offender or a teen who got caught with his girlfriend.

The system we have now has watered down the term "sex offender" by including people like this.

It is just wrong in so many ways and needs to be fixed.
