As you may already know, the Wikileaks website is under attack following
their latest release of 250,000 US Embassy Diplomatic Cables.
Most of their domains have been shut down due to surreptitious pressures
from the US government, and so in order to assist, we ve set up a

This has only been happening since somone was smarter, more cunning or stronger than someone else. This was news a few epochs ago.
Incidently, smart =/= cunning. Either one can win. So can crazy. See also; Hitler, Palin, Stalin, Pol Pot, grandma and her "just take more more muffin for the road", or insert_random_mom_here and her "I made this pie/cake/entire Thanksgiving buffet,JUST FOR YOU (cue the sad eyes) and you're not gonna have just.. one.. little...slice?' "Sigh..."
While I would definitely say that our government is corrupt. It is difficult to really find who exactly is to blame. It isn't as if the corruption roots only from Hilary Clinton and the Obama gang. The corruption has existed for a very very long time.
I want to say it is despotism, but who are the despots? Obama and Clinton? Maybe it was Bush and Cheney? The Republican party? The Democrats? Who are you really going to point your finger at, to say this is where the corruption stems from, so this is who we need to deal with.
The reality of it is, the American people really don't care. Sure its a little embarrassing to find out that the people in charge have been lying to your face for years. But so what? What are they lying about, and why are they lying?
The truth is, they are lying to keep the American economic machine running in high gear. They are lying so you can have a job. They are lying so you can have cheap stuff made in China. They are lying so they can use our military to secure the oil we need in the middle-east.
Basically, they are lying so you can have an easier life. All you have to do is just pretend it isn't happening.
You're life is simple, just go to work your 9-5 job and consume consume consume. You are not valuable to the American economic machine if you are not consuming.
Besides, if it wasn't America using economic or military coercion to better itself. It would just be someone else. Remember the Soviet Union? Do you think China doesn't do the same things we do?
What is the other option? Isolationism? That is the quick path to another energy crisis(ala the 70's). How about some runaway inflation?
I didn't need wikileaks nor anything else to know that! ....I knew that the minute the Bush/Cheney/Rove gang got into office and started their "three week cake walk"...
But, ya gotta admit, this guy rocks for kicking it out before it is too late to hurt anyone.
I am a fan.
We spend a huge amount of time trying to find information. We comb through released documents and savor them like candy. We do spend quite a bit of time going over material and we always get it a day late and its confirmation.
It's like a big ol' caught ya in the act with your pants down. And all of a sudden we don't have to have 75 gazillian books in at least 44 countries. That is a first.
I love them. As in, if he dies he will be a martyr. If you bust him, he will be a martyr.
