3 out of 62, and you had to reach back 31 years to do it, impressive.

How much will it cost just to recharge?

I'm honestly curious, I have no idea.

All these flat earth types seem to despise anything that leans forward, even if it is in it's infancy. I don't understand the mindset myself. Why such animosity anyway?

The best estimates I've seen for price of a gallon converted to the charge on one of these is around 1.50 a gallon. That means you'd have to drive about 20000 all electric miles to make up for the extra price of the car.

The volt is a good start in the right direction for energy independence, but the "green" selling point is just marketing.

Well, if you get the super-duper charger that will recharge in half the time of a normal 220 outlet, I've read estimates of $2-3 thousand for the charger and to install the upgraded outlet.

If you go with your regular 220: Approx 8 hours to recharge, 8 hours of electricity use - guess it depends on your kilowatt rate.

After recharging, you are able to drive.........40 miles on the battery.

That is what I could call a LEMON.

Is it ok to go back just 2 years and mention the Nobel that was given to Obama before he even apologized to one group of Muslims?

And let me throw this in, there will be a special charger and meter for this because fed and state vehicle fuel taxes will need to be applied.
