I am in the 30% she talks about and we make about $70,000 of taxable money but not itemizing is purely stupid unless you are going to get a refund and didn't pay anything anyway.

I am sure that she thinks people stupid enough to have any kind of savings and those with, like state retirement, don't get anything from the money that is invested.

Actually THEY talk all the time like none of them other than the real limousine liberals make much money.

Missouri needs to recall Clair for her statements to insite violence. A little over a year ago at Missouri townhall meeting she was accusing Tea Party protesters of being violent and here she is encouraging violence.

Pretty bad form for a woman worth about $30 million. She envisions herself the next Pelosi sans botox and face lifts. Claire is an unapoligetic Socialist-elitist.

Instead of taking pitchforks to the productive and contributing class, perhaps Claire could address the problems created by the welfare women who have children at the rate of 3 times that of women not receiving public assistance.

Quote:
"The 1996 Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act (PRWORA) gave states greater flexibility to formulate and implement initiatives to reduce welfare dependency and encourage employment for members of low-income families with children. For the nation, in 2006, 10 years after passage of the Act, the birth rate for women 15 to 50 years old receiving public assistance income in the last 12 months was 155 births per 1,000 women, about three times the rate for women not receiving public assistance (53 births per 1,000 women).

Is it really wise for Claire, or any other Dem, to demonize the productive and contributing members of society?

GO MCKLASKEY!

Middle class... ask Roy's for his home address. He's the idiot cheering on the Chinese owning your behind.
According to what my tax lady tells me we are somewhere between the lower middle class and the middle middle class and yet I cannot understand how McCaskill and her friends reason about the GOP wanting to hurt the middle class. I think they know what they are saying but they know that they are taking advantage of those who don't understand the whole thing but who do vote Democrat.

How does the GOP add all those billions to the deficit? Almost all of them voted against the stimulus bill but it passed. All of them did vote against Obamacare, but it also passed. I don't know who voted against or for extending the unemployment payments but I bet that when we find out that there was no vote, just an agreement between Obama and the GOP leaders many Dems will scream just as loud about that as they do about the extension of the tax rates.

Say, Professor Beck was out of this world good today. You can still see his show in two places on your computer.

If Claire wants to "level the playing field," how about instituting the flat tax? You can't get more level than that. Everyone pays the same tax rate.

Sure it is. Lemmings always fall for the class warfare/class envy arguement. Just look at all the threads on this forum.

Though, isn't envy one of those deadly sins?

Expect it to just get worse.

There will come a day in the not too distant future when the US unemployment rate crosses 50%, and when 50% or more of the population will be living on less than $2 a day like many countries in Africa. Once things become this bad, the rich will abandon this country anyway & probably head to China, India, or Brazil.

Then it will be time to get the pitchforks and march on to D.C.

The thing that gets me is no one even questions when ultra-left liberals like McCaskill want to limit their ability to succeed in the future. They want to lower the bar on just how much success is possible and keep those in the lower and middle classes pigeonholed by setting the bar so low.
