The next president in 2012 will have to be someone with some very thick skin. He/She will have to do things that no president has done before if that person truly want's to save this country.
They won't need to worry about poll numbers anymore like Mr. Obama does.
Since it seems the American people have already forgotten all the damage his big brother has done to the country, does Jeb have a chance if he ran? I think Obama beats anyone else in 2012 especially if it is Palin. Jeb on the other hand might be the only one that the GOP have to take Obama down.
Except for the fact that Ron Paul appeals to a smaller base than the most progressive of liberals out there. Ron Paul is a smart, tolerant, and open-minded man, but he does not appeal to the Republican base because he is a man of reason and not emotion.
As much as I would like to give him a chance, being in favour of the constitutional rights of American Muslims, admitting that US foreign policy has played a role in the rise of anti-Western attitudes in the Middle East, and disagreeing with Obama based on his policies and not his father's nationality will never fly with the Republican base...

Please don't get me wrong, I agree whole heartily. But, I could see the need of the right to resort to dragging Ole Jeb into the race. 18% approval rates are not going to cut it.

nonsense...there are a lot of solid conservatives out there that just havent been front and center. Jebs dad and brother both have said he isnt running, I would say that means he isnt running.
