Goverment requiring you to prove you are who you say you are before voting is a bit different than government deciding it will make all your healthcare decisions for you cradle to grave. Trying to equate the two seems to be a bit disingenuous.

Exxon - 2708 Virginia Ave NW - Washington - NW, DC - Washington DC Gas Prices

It's notorious for being the most overpriced gas station in the entire Washington region. I wish it would just fall off into the Potomac.

In fact, unlike with birth control, when it comes to gasoline prices, liberals demand that we change our lifestyle to accommodate higher gas prices, yet if we ask women to change their lifestyle to accommodate the cost of birth control, liberals scream that we're a bunch of sexists. If women don't have to pay $5 for birth control, why should I have to pay $5 for gasoline? They need birth control to fornicate? Well I need gasoline for my car.

Liberals demand that I buy an Obama motors electric car, move closer to my workplace, use mass transit, etc. to cope with gas prices yet they have no problem with government funded birth control so women can fornicate freely. Why shouldn't the government pay for the gas that goes into my car. Or if not the government, why shouldn't my auto insurance be required to pay for my gasoline? You say because auto insurance is for injuries and property damage not gasoline. Well health insurance is for injuries and illnesses not for recreational purposes. So if taxpayers have to pay for women's contraception, it's only fair that they also pay for gasoline in my car.
Wow, you got all the facts wrong. Women complained that their insurance was not paying for the pill. And the President has no control of the price of gas. I would think someone that considers themself in the know would have done their research before making themself look foolish by posting false statements, go figure

That, and the scumbag pedophile priests need it so they can get it up for the children.

The catholic Church is just another "Emperor with no clothes" as those who were victimized as children keep pointing out. We keep supporting a church that has more money and treasure than God, abuses our children, harbors criminals, should have totally obliterated starvation by now, and is about as far from the teachings of Jesus Christ as you can get.

$5 gas will spur innovation that will lead to us weaning ourselves off of petroleum. And then maybe my tax dollars will not have to subsidize (tax breaks, royalty reductions/exemptions, external costs of ozone-creating pollution, global warming, etc.) someone elses commute since mine is free of hydrocarbons.

And is gas really that expensive historically speaking? I ask because I believe the rate of, e.g. carpooling, is still below what it was in the 80s. I still see truck sales at almost 50% of the light vehicle sales.

Default Gallon Of Gas: 1/20/09 -- $1.84; 1/21/13 -- $3.26; Thank you Obama

Obama

"Overwhelming judgment of science" No you stinking Marxist moron, it's the overwhelming "judgment" of a bunch of people collecting a pay check from the federal government (who cannot work anywhere else because there is no private sector job market for 'climate scientist"), - that they should continue to keep the gravy train hoax rolling on the basis of LIES and DECEIT from computer models that they devised for that purpose. Earth's temperature is what it was over 17 years ago = NO NET WARMING in all that time while CO2 has continued climbing. The theory is DEAD yet we keep spending more taxpayer money to 'study it', now over $2 billion per year. USA CO2 emissions have actually DECREASED during Obama's term because of the bad economy and the fact that his policies have increased the cost of energy. So what do we get from this clown for lowering our CO2 emissions? NOTHING BUT MORE LIES TO DESTROY OUR ECONOMY EVEN FURTHER!
