Truthfully, i don't think black folks care one iota about this development...if you can even call it that. I know plenty of black Republicans. It's not like they're aliens...they DO exist.

First of all who would vote for two people that suddenly discovered that the Dems were "too Liberal" for them but campaigned as such? Your silly butt didn't know that Democrats align themselves with liberals?
Perhaps some of you from Georgia can help me figure this one out since I seriously doubt these guys were more politically in line with Nancy Pelosi than say Newt Gingrinch!

Georgia politics now-a-days are simple. If you are a Republican (I would bet even a child molesting, murderous rapist Republican) you will beat any Democrat, even if they are conservative just because you have that R near your name and that is the only thing that the majority of Georgia voters look for.

How did they win offices as Democrats unless people in GA voted for them. Kind of shoots that nonsense you spewed all to h*ll

I agree that feeling of " to liberal" is going to cost the democrats even more supporters for time to come

Sooo..... Is this news because Blacks are generally very democratic or that there are so few Black republicans?

Either you're being sarcastic, or you just proved me right

Um.. if whites were so racist, they wouldnt vote for a black regardless of their political affiliation, but both of these individuals are, or have been elected as a Democrat, and now becoming a Republican.. Tell me how they won if blacks cant win due to racism? Did they paint their faces white during debates?

Sure they exist just like shooting stars that burn up as they descend in the sky; both rare events. If you know "plenty" of Black Republicans they must all live in your area because as a racial group there is no other voting group that is so anti-Republican in America [though the Latinos and gays are fast catching up with Blacks for their total disgust of the GOP]. It is a Republican fantasy that Blacks will ever embrace their party of old white bigots.

Yes...in fact, many do live in my area.

And i don't know why you're "eye rolling" me. I'd be the last person to try and sell the idea that black people are running to the Repub party in droves. As an African American, i know better.

Perhaps you haven't noticed that for decades Black politicians and Black voters are overwhelmingly Democrats in all 50 states.

I suspect you already knew that.
