Shallowness form the left? Are you for real? What the hell took the self serving nitwit so long to get her fat butt over there if she thought that she could bring attention and actually do some good. What a contrived and strategic, but oh so obvious move on Ms. Wasilly's part. I'm sure that it was not even her damn idea. Sean Penn, one of the far "leftists", btw, has been there and helping since the beginning.

My leftist remarks were specifically directed towards posters in this thread and forum.

Penn is doing a bit better for Haiti than he did in NOLA when he took a camera crew to record his works and they filmed the known anti-gunner when he blew a hole in the bottom of his rowboat with a shotgun.

Do you really want to compare what is happening in Haiti right now to New Orleans today?

I might have been impressed- if Palin had made a SECRET trip to Fred Graham's compound, and maybe spent a month or two helping out in the infirmery or the soup kitchen. Then donated some of her bazillions to the relief effort. You know, "Don't tell the right hand what the left hand is doing", as the Good Book says.

Instead, she blew in and out of town, with a Fox News crew tagging along to catch every (brief) heart-tugging moment (sniff... where's a kleenex?) Bet Fox had its cameras so far up Palin's butt we'll get to see her tonsciles.

I refuse to be held accountable by gender for her behavior. Shemales are not applicable.

Entering on stage left right on cue and name calling too. Thanks for playing: "let's slam a Conservative who is doing something positive to bring Haiti's humanitarian disaster back in the spotlite" !

That's the Christmas spirit!

Someone should have reminded Palin that charity begins at home (USA) before she congragulated DeMint for voting against the extension of unemployment benefits. Yeah, you go Frau Palin...tis the season!

As a second thought, having written that first comment five minutes ago, you may have been sarcastic or just more clever than me.
Actually, I meant that if some good comes of Sarah's trip, perhaps her motivations are unimportant, especially for the Haitians.
