For the millions of people who think only the bad guys get in trouble with big government, WAKE UP!
The more power our big bloated government has, the less freedom you and I will have.
The more information our big bloated government has about you and I, the more likely we will be harmed.
This is just a tiny example, but if you are the victim, it's devastating. If I'm on the jury when this government idiot is tried, I would convict in 2 seconds and hope he gets life in prison.
You can't get life in prison simply because you're an idiot, which this guy was.

This is why we should never register our guns.
This is why we should never allow DUI traffic stops.
This is why we should vigorously enforce privacy laws.
Funny, that's the same argument i had with people about my opposition to the Patriot Act and Warrantless Wiretapping, only to have them tell me that if i wasn't doing anything wrong, why am i worrying?
And yea...they were all Conservatives!
Listening in on a phone call from a suspected terrorist calling in from Pakistan, is a bit different then sensitive and personal information we are required to give to the government, and then having that info being released.

The government is dysfunctional once you get past our armies.
They miss manage our money, and overpay everything on the taxpayer's nickel.
We need to get it down to the 60s level of government employment IMO. Maybe it used to be 1-1000 worked for the government then, and now???
We have a spending problem, not a taxation problem.
PS, if that transgendered person can get themselves incarcerated in California, the state government has been stupid enough to pay for their reassignment surgery. Caused some of them to make their way to our prisons (as dumb as that sounds).
We need to grow the private sector, not government. As government grows, the private side dies. As the private side dies out, there is nothing to tax.

Yes. A society that does not value privacy and freedom is destined to lose both.
I refuse to trade my freedom for the perception of safety.
Ben Franklin said something like "People willing to trade their freedom for temporary security deserve neither and will lose both."

Yes, they are a bit different but both are an invasion of privacy.
I don't want someone listening to my phone calls just because some government yahoo thinks I might be a bad guy.
