And this is why the Democratic Party is the more humanitarian party, and the Republican Party is less sensitive to the needs of the poor and disadvantaged in our society.

Funny thing is, not enough of the empathetic have the majority. Even funnier, is that technically the 'rich' are out numbered but no one knows who the other is or really wants. Time to put our fears aside and make some serious change in this country.

Wrong. There is more than one study on this.

It's a real shame that this is still a country of greed and selfishness. And outright disrespect of the American worker.

*And just to make myself clear as to where I stand... this is not a Republican, Democrat, or any other party affiliation problem... it's a people in general problem. It's a mindset that gives some people the idea that they are something more than just human. There's so much more to our existence than just money. After all, in the end, we all die. We're as happy as we've ever been and more broke than we've ever been. Yes, the demon money would make things more accessible and easier to obtain but it does not make us who we are. Any of us.

What, another "hate thread'? Is this a joke or is it supposed to be an example of empathy by the OP?

The Democratic Party is becoming a watered down version of the Republican Party, and neither are caring too much about anyone but the rich, which is to say, neither party cares much about 80-90% of Americans.

But you'd never guess that from most of their supporters, who are somehow fooled into believing that the people they vote for could give two sh*ts what they think or how they feel

Sorry but that line is a CROCK! I know people in both parties who are very wealthy, and they are equally empathetic towards the poor, one not more then the other.

The Dems have some very wealthy people in their party, or do you choose not to see this, it is just that one party, seems to like to give things away for nothing, to those who are non deserving of these things, that most of us do not take FOR GRANTED! And this is not a guessing game, we all know who they are, even you!

Some believe in giving, without these people ever having to lift a finger, what kind of message is this, this brings on such a huge problem, because these people expect to be compensated, for never ever lifting a finger one day in their life.

Don't tell me no my son and cousin working for a S.S. office and the people demanding with violence to be compensated with welfare, because we owe them. Yes sometimes there are those that get very demadning, and phsycial when they are denied benefits, because they feel the system owes them, and so much of the time, there is nothing in the world physically or mentally wrong with these people

I feel this is all a crock, people are empathetic, whether they are in a certain party, a certain race, a certain color, if they are empathetic to begin with, your party does not make you this way, it is how you feel, and i know more Republicians who are empathetic towards the poor, and donating not only time and energy to their causes but hard earned cash.

Telling people they could have something for nothing, and these people demanding and expecting this to be so, is not empathetic to me, it is plain stupid and ignorant, that ends up costing way to much money, to those who don't deserve it. No problem for those of you who do deserve it, this is not for you, but for those lazy bums, who want something for nothing.
