How does a deliberate effort to cast doubt translate into an order to tell the full truth? What pretzel logic are you using? Ridiculous! You don't willfully express opposition to something unless you wish to discredit it.
Read the e-mail in question and come back. Despite the media matters headline, all it says is:
"We should refrain from asserting that the planet has warmed (or cooled) in any given period without IMMEDIATELY pointing out that such theories are based upon data that critics have called into question. It is not our place as journalists to assert such notions as facts, especially as this debate intensifies."
They weren't taking a position or saying that they discredit any position, only pointing out that there are two - after allowing one to present their case.
This is not a News station it is vehicle for propaganda. Pollution is not helping anything or anyone yet our government allows loopholes so corporations can save a buck or two.
According to the email, obtained by Media Matters, Fox News's Washington bureau chief, Bill Sammon, imposed an order to make time for climate skeptics within 15 minutes of the airing of a story about a scientific report showing that 2000-2009 was on track to be the hottest decade on record.

Media Matters.....................that really is all that needs to be said , but since some might not understand that, Bill Sammon, imposed an order to make time for climate skeptics within 15 minutes of the airing of a story about a scientific report showing that 2000-2009 was on track to be the hottest decade on record. I think that is what is called..... "reporting both sides" ! That is the Fair and Balanced part, you know instead of just running with what ever liberal nonsense is fed to them.
Yeah. Next, it will be dubbed, "Climate Weather!" Quick! Run for your raincoats! No! Make it your sunscreen! Oh no! Better grab your snow boots! Oops! Grab your rake! Oh dear, what are we going to do? We can't keep up with it! Better just pass blanket bills that require us to submit to whatever regulation and taxes are necessary to protect us from..."Climate Weather!"

Not "opposition" but to reserve "doubt" and explain that there are two sides to this issue, as opposed to repeating the al Gore line that "the debate is over", and "the science is settled".

This seems like a responsible and reasonable position for a news organization to take. Is this all media blathers has? There they go, making crap up again and the left-wing base just eats it up and regurgitates it verbatim.

That is why we have the right wing base who are thoughtful , fair and balanced , and intelligent .
