As the song says, THE TERRORISTS HAVE WON. So much real dislike is showing up for those who work for TSA that we are splitting further. My foster daughter, of years ago, will be coming home from Afghaniostan after her year there and she won't put up with anything without a fight. She told me about how those TSA people treated over 300 returning National Guard people a while back and she will be one of them.
oh my God, I haven't laughed so hard in a week or more. I only wish I knew how to get this into my email so I could send it on to all my friends.

now after I finished laughing I realized how serious this problem has become. I wonder how many real terrorists will be stopped by the stupid TSA. I don't mean they are stupid, I mean the policies put forth by our government are stupid.

Sometimes songs can catch the imagination better than anything else.
There is a song about a post bombed out world called "When the Wind Blows". Its almost impossible to find a copy of now, but when Eric Bogle first released it in the 80's I wore out a tape and ended up (and lost) the cd of it. Recently found a cassette tape of it and got it transfered so I can listen again.
But its this lilting tune with this driving sort of energy until you listen to the words and realize its about the end. It's that difference between the lilting tune and the message that really makes you notice.
Somehow the one about Grandma really captures all the absurdedity and stupidity and utter uselessness of the whole idea. If a guy with a loaded glock can walk through security but they stop the presses at the bag behind him with shampoo bottles, I guess that means we should all be afraid of shampoo?
If you like how the Feds run the TSA, you will love ObamaCare. It's the same yahoos in charge.
It's beyond belief that so many people think the government can handle any large program effectively. But, I guess we never learn. We just keep asking them to do more and more.
